Welcome the the Extension Emporium, my name is Lauren and i'm the owner and founder of the company, which is now based in Grimsby..

I developed a keen interest into the hairdressing age 14 , now into my thirties believe it or not i'm even more passionate about it than I was back then. I have 15 years experience in the hair & beauty industry . I trained in two very different salons and after completing this i worked in several others over the years to find out exactly which fit was best for me before finally opening my own commercial salon which was my ultimate dream .

To achieve this by age 21 I was ecstatic and did this for a few years with wonderful staff , the salon was booming. The salon was so popular it got to the point we had people queuing down the street , we were constantly booked out,  Then fast forward to march 11th 2020 welcome the pandemic.

I made the decision to sell my salon and relocated with a different perspective. My father reminded me that I am the business not the brick & mortar. I soon moved out from Buckinghamshire and up north to be with my wonderful partner. My in laws built me the most beautiful two chair private  salon suite and while this was being done i invested in my equipment as well as education even more to set me up for the best possible start and rebranded to The Extension Emporium.

I have an extensive list of qualifications which I've spent much hard work and money on . I can deliver what I believe to be the most relaxing but professional service you'll ever have had. My clients always say its a salon environment with a comfortable homely feel, the cosy fire definitely adds to the ambience!

I have clients visit me from all over the world and couldn't be more grateful. I'm trained in all aspects of hairdressing but specialise in hair extensions and hair loss solutions for men and women. I'm based in  Grimsby Lincolnshire and do travel for training students.  Im qualified to city and guilds level  1,2,3, ptls and was awarded my vocational assesors  5 years ago.

The next step naturally was to teach,  i decided to open my own hair extension training academy. ( i recently enrolled to also receive my updated license for this so i can add new methods for students)

I truly believe we never stop learning and bettering ourselves. I regularly attend new courses and am searching for the very best new services for my clientele. I started out very small and humble and have built myself a mini empire I'm so very proud of.
